  Program Cancellation & Refund Policies  
 

Cancellation Policy:
• No refunds will be issued unless the program is cancelled by the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.
• Program credits may be issued; please see specific program policies below.


Refund Policy
• No refunds will be issued to the public unless the program is canceled by the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.
• Leniency may be given on a case by case basis.

Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden Individual Program Policies:
Nocturnal Adventures:
• Deposit Amount: 25% of total
• Due: 2 weeks after the program is registered
• Final Payment Due: 1 month prior to program date
• Credits: No credits will be issued

Wildlife Comes to You:
• Deposit Amount: 25% of total
• Due: 2 weeks after the program is registered
• Final Payment Due: 1 month prior to program date
• Credits: If the program recipient cancels more than 2 weeks prior to the program date. Credits will be honored for 3 months from the issue date only.
• If a Cincinnati Zoo representative makes an appearance for a program and the recipient is not present or set up to receive them, you will be charged the full program cost.

Scouts:
• Deposit Amount: 25% of total (including scouts and adults)
• Due: 2 weeks after the program is registered
• Final Payment Due: 1 month prior to program date
• Credits: If the program recipient cancels more than 1 month prior to the program date, deposit is transferable to another program scheduled within 3 months of cancellation.

Cat Show:
• Deposit Amount: 25% of total
• Due: 2 weeks after the program is registered
• Final Payment Due: 1 month prior to program date
• Credits: No credits will be issued
• If a Cincinnati Zoo representative makes an appearance for a program and the recipient is not present or set up to receive them, you will be charged the full program cost.

Bird Show:
• Deposit Amount: 25% of total
• Due: 2 weeks after the program is registered
• Final Payment Due: 1 month prior to program date
• Credits: No credits will be issued
• If a Cincinnati Zoo representative makes an appearance for a program and the recipient is not present or set up to receive them, you will be charged the full program cost.

Frisch’s Outreach:

• Deposit Amount: None
• Final Payment Due: 2 weeks prior to program date
• Rescheduling: If the Frisch’s Outreach Instructor is notified at least two weeks prior to the program date, every effort will be made to reschedule your program.
• If a Cincinnati Zoo representative makes an appearance for a program and the recipient is not present or set up to receive them, you will be charged the full program cost.

Members’ Programs:
• Deposit Amount: None
• Final Payment Due: At time of booking
• Credits: Credits will be issued to anyone giving notice up to 24 hours after a missed class.

Summer Camp:
• Deposit Amount: None
• Final Payment Due: At time of booking
• Credits: If the program recipient cancels more than 2 weeks prior to the program date. Credits will be honored for 3 months from the issue date only.

School Groups:
• Deposit Amount: None
• Final Payment Due: Day of visit or P.O. filled out the day of visit
• If you do not appear for a scheduled program, you will be charged a $30.00 fee per scheduled program.
