For wildlife enthusiasts 16 and older, our in-depth adult classes provide thought-provoking learning along with a good time. From our Wildlife Portraits series featuring conservation issues to our behind-the-scenes tours and keeper encounters, come discover the wealth of knowledge and experiences that await you.

BACKSTAGE PASS
Are you looking for a more intimate, once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Zoo? Look no further than the Backstage Pass Programs! All programs include an up-close and personal look at some of the places the Zoo animals call home and most even include an encounter with Zoo animals. All participants will receive a keepsake backstage pass on a zoo-themed lanyard as a souvenir of your adventure. LIMIT: 15 PARTICIPANTS PER PROGRAM. No one under 15 will be admitted to these programs.
MAGNIFICENT MANATEES Ever wonder what happens on Slip and Lil’ Joe’s side of the manatee tank? We’ll find out during this class! With a backstage tour of the goings-on behind (and above) the manatee tank, we’ll get a different view of the Zoo’s manatees and the Manatee Springs exhibit they call home. We’ll even get to help make some tasty enrichment treats for the manatees!	Date: June 28 • 11 am-Noon	Cost: Members $40/Members Non-Members $55/Non-Members
SCALES, FANGS, AND FUN Highly specialized keepers are needed to care for some of the deadliest beauties in the Zoo. We’ll meet a keeper and get up close and personal with some of these amazing predators on a one-of-a-kind backstage tour of the Zoo’s Reptile House.	Date: July 19 • 10-11 am	Cost: Members $40/Members Non-Members $55/Non-Members
GIRAFFE RIDGE Who is the tallest land animal on Earth? Your new friend! Come and get a sneak peek at the newest Zoo exhibit, Giraffe Ridge. Get an up-close look at the giraffes that call this cool new exhibit home and even offer them a morning snack.	Date: July 26, August 9 or 16 • 8-9 am	Cost: Members $60/Members Non-Members $75/Non-Members

VIP BACKSTAGE PASS
This program includes all of the perks of the Backstage Pass programs but with special added experiences and a keepsake photo. No one under 15 will be admitted to these programs.
THE HIDDEN ZOO Back by popular demand! Did you know that the Zoo has an off-grounds breeding facility to house animals that are between exhibits or need privacy in order to successfully breed? The Mast Farm is just that place! Don’t forget your camera, because during this program, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at rare animals like the Zoo’s cheetahs and rare birds that call the farm home. You will also get the inside scoop on when there will be more baby cheetahs on the way! LIMIT: 15 PARTICIPANTS PER PROGRAM.	Dates: August 2 • 8-9:30 am	Cost: Members $60 Non-Members $75
