will be back: the Cat Ambassador Program, Wings of Wonder Bird
Show, Elephant Tails, Reptiles and Amphibians are Special Too!,
performances at Frisch's Discovery Center and Native American
Storytelling. The entire Zoo is yours to explore. Gates open
at 9 a.m. and programs will be begin at 9:15 a.m., continuing
into the afternoon. all programs are repeated to allow you to
customize the day to meet the needs and interests of your students.
Written activities, on a special Zoo web site or hard copies
included in your materials, will encourage your students' interest
in science before, during and after your Zoo adventure. These
activities are designed to help your students meet a number
of Ohio's learning objectives, Kentucky's core content and Indiana's
academic standards. The Zoo is a perfect place for students
to experience "how living things meet their needs" and
how "humans impact the environment."
