December, 2009 (check back soon for more
details)

Escorted by Dan Marsh, Director of Education

Antarctica is six million square miles of glistening ice sheets, enormous glaciers and statuesque icebergs with untold secrets that have drawn adventurers since the 19th-century obsessed with unlocking them. Though it is the most isolated continent on the planet, it is one of the most vital providing 70% of the world’s fresh water. You will spend 11 days aboard a comfortable expedition vessel unearthing your own discoveries, from crouching on the ice-hard ground while watching hundreds of thousands of comical penguins and seeing massive elephant seals defending their turf. $ 9495 per person. Estimated airfare from Cincinnati $1400.00.
