Great American Wings of
Wonder Traveling Bird Show


The Bird Show staff offers traveling shows that are great for all ages, organizations and events.

"The BIG Show" : For large audiences, this humorous, theatrical production involves eight species of trained animals, and two trainers. Available November through March, $300.

"Close-Encounter Show" : For smaller audiences, involves four species of animals, one trainer, and is more informal then the “BIG” Show.
Available all year, Monday thru Friday 9-5 pm, $100.
Weekends and Evenings, $150.


Did you miss the Great American Wings of Wonder Bird Show this Summer?
During the off-season, the trainers are working on new behaviors for the upcoming summer show. This new program exposes your students to an inside look at how birds are trained. Students will learn natural history, view some of the Zoo’s amazing birds and learn the principles of training.

When: November 2007 through March 2008
Where: Harold C. Schott Education Center
What: 30-45 minute classroom program at the Zoo
Cost:
$6.00 per student (includes cost of admission)
$6.00 per volunteer chaperones, (includes cost of admission) Paid staff and bus parking - FREE
$5.00 for each private vehicle parking

Appearances:
We also offer appearances with 21 different species of birds. Including hawks, owls, eagles, parrots, kookaburras, and penguins. Great for parties, events, and trade shows.

Eagle Appearances – Available upon request at $130 per hour.
Standard Appearance – Any combination of four birds, except eagles, at $130 per hour.
