Great American Wings of
Wonder

Engage your students with the Great American Wings of Wonder bird program. Just when you thought that all birds had gone south for the winter, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden brings them to your classroom or school assembly. Zoo naturalists will educate your students about our birds’ natural behaviors, adaptations, habitat requirements and positive-negative human impacts. In addition, this entertaining program encourages your students to become involved in bird and wildlife issues. We offer both an assembly and classroom style program. Both programs are approximately 45 minutes.

This 45-minute program features birds from around the world:
parrots, macaws, birds of prey, kookaburras, and maybe a surprise or two. It is adaptable to all grade levels (Pre-12).
