Pallas' Cat
Otocolobus manul

The Pallas’ cat takes shelter in rock crevices or burrows abandoned by foxes, badgers or marmots during much of the day. Hunting primarily by sight, the cat is most active during dawn and dusk. Not very swift on its feet, the Pallas’ cat relies on an ambush technique.

Weight: 6.5 to 11 lbs

Lifespan: 8 to 10 yrs in wild

Habitat: Mountain regions, including grassland, woodland and semi-desert

Diet: Pikas, hares and small rodents such as gerbils, voles and young marmots
