Potto
Perodictus potto

Camouflaged in the canopy, the potto lives a slow-paced life. It can hold still for hours to keep from being seen. If pursued by a predator, the potto tucks its head down and thrusts out its upper back and shoulders. A bony shield that grows over its upper vertebrae protects the potto from attack.
