Little Penguin
Eudyptula minor

The smallest of all penguins, little penguins only come ashore at night in the wild. Little penguins live in a warmer climate than most other penguins and avoid the heat of the day by remaining in the water. With no nocturnal land predators, nighttime is also the safest time to be on land.
