Reticulated Python
Python reticulatus

The reticulated python rivals the anaconda for the title of the largest snake in the world. It captures prey by slow stalking or ambush, often concealed in the trees waiting for prey to wander near. A reticulated python is capable of eating animals as large as small deer and pigs.

Length: More than 32 ft

Weight: Up to 350 lbs

Habitat: : Tropical rainforest, woodlands, marshes, rivers, and agricultural and urban areas

Prey: Mammals, birds and lizards
