Giant Cockroach
Blaberus giganteus

This roach is one of the largest in the world. It is colored to look like a dead leaf and flattened for hiding in narrow crevices. During the day it shelters under fallen leaves, loose tree bark or similar crawl spaces. At night it scampers about looking for food and occasionally flies short distances.
